I am building a 250r set up for MX racing. I know that naturaly the +3 a arms would be better, but I will also be using this quad as a trail machine. Now most of the trails I have aren't terably skinny or technical, but like many of the trails are grooved by other quads, and would the +3's make it too wide to easily negotiate those sections, or should I just get +2's? Thanks.

+2s cause you can run 3+2 wheel offset for MX and 4+1 for trail. With +3 you would probably run 4+1 for MX and trail but you would still be really wide in the trail but as narrow as you could get.

How does wheele offset work? I;m not shure what the numbers mean.

I take it that your front wheel will be a total of 5 inchs wide so 3+2 would mean 3 inchs from where they bolt on to the inner bead and 2 inches to the outer bead. The 4+1 is the same way just different measurments.

go with the +3 arms the tires will be just outside stock quad ruts. use the 4in offset wheels. 49in wide frontend!:D
