my 450r backfires when the rev limiter is hit then shifted. it also backfired when the kill swich was turned off while still on the throttle. it has the hrc kit in it, is this normal or what could be wrong?

if you let off the gas and it back fires isnt your pilot jet a bit lean ?

I just read on 450r.org that poping when letting off the gas is lean fuel screw.

It has the HRC lid on it and the HRC silencer core. HRC needle in 3rd clip, stock pilot and 185 main. the fuel screw is about 2 turns out.
