I bought a used works ultracross shock for my 300ex. I mounted the rezzie on the frame rail right next to and partially under the battery. Does this sound right? It seems like the only logical location. However, the hose is dangerously close to the chain. Any ideas would be appreciated. Pictures of other members setups would be extremely appreciated. Thanks

you run it up the top frame rail, and then mount it right by the left front fender bracket

he doesnt have an extended hose line on his shock, if i were you i'd mount it on the other side on a 300ex.. i've already chewed up 1 line by mountin it on the left side.

Thanks for the replies. So I guess I will try mounting it up front......I didn't even consider that when I was scratching my head trying to figure it out

If your hose is long enough you can mount it up front like this

if you ain't worried about hitten to much water then cut a hole in the airbox and just let it lay in there, i've had mine in there with no problems for a year

First of all, thanks for all the help, everyone. Unfortunatly, the hose is not long enough to reach the front of the quad. I ended up mounting it in a similar place as Nacsracer. (A little closser to the battery). Im still a little concerned about the chain. I did use a wire tie to keep it away. Im heading over to Paragon AP in PA on Sunday to give a a trial run. Thanks again all.
