Who's got Halo 2? Reviews!

I waited out in the cold last night for the speacial edition of H2. I have been playing it for about the past 6 hours and it rocks! the amount of detail is sick. The weapons are way better.

So who else has the new game?
What do you think of it?

my buddie got it earlie this morning.....1ish and played it all night... it was pretty funny today cuse he was so outta it! but yeah, he said the graphics were awesome!

I got it last night, probably have 8-10 hrs on it.....it's freakin awesome.... I love how you can take over vehicles.

ive seen the review for it on the orginal halo game that came with my xbox the halo edition. the new need for speed 2 looks awsome 2

Yup, waited 3 hours in a huge line to get it. It was BS though because they had 2 lines,one for preordered and one for people who were just going to buy it and hadn't preordered. They were letting the people that didn't preorder in along with us and they got in before the people that preordered. Skipped school today to play it and it kicks major ***!

At first i didnt like the controls and sounds seemed a little fake compared to 1.. but once you play and master it, the game blows halo 1 outta the water. Unlimited possiblities of gun combos, the sword is awesome, covenant and marines, flood are all more intelligent. Levels are huge with awesome detail. Waited at Wal-Mart last night for 1 hour got the 5th copy of LE. Been playing it for almost all night.Well worth it. Definate buy!!! its lives up to the hype.

i dont like the multiplayer.... you move so daym slow ....... and wheres the trusty pistol!!!

IMO it takes no skill to master halo 2 instead of halo 1 where you have to shot the head of the other guys for a 3 shot drop.

I just beat it....I wasn't to impressed with the ending though....but the rest of the game was great.

I played it at my buddy's place tonight ...... 8 players . The game was pretty good .

does anybodu know how many levels there are?? i am on 14 and was just wondering cause it seems alot longer than Halo 1. did everybody's Halo 2 come with a 2 month subscription to xbox live?? i was wondering what you have to do to activate it and everything.

That would take a while but it could be beat in one day. He might have downloaded it early. That means he would have had a week and a half or 2 to beat it.

14 levels according to the stratigy guide. I like playing as the Arbitor. The sword is awsome. I will be finished the game tonight I think then I will activate Xbox live and play online.

BTW 2.38 million copies were sold the first day! That includes all the pre-orders.

I was kinda disappointed in the board selection for multiplayer.
I thought for sure there would be more boards.
Other then that i like it alot.

yep i played all night and most of the next day, didn't have anything else to do.....It's alright, but you can expect a Halo 3 they left it wide open.

yeah there is not doubt that there will be a Halo 3. i counted 15 levels. but i think the 1st one isn't really a level but its a video. oh and i just beat it. took me about 11 hours. for once i like fighting with the Hunters and not against them :D

yeah...it's pretty sweet to fight with the hunters....they rip the brutes to pieces....I think trhey are the toughest guys in the game.

Wanna hear something sad??? I never beat the first Super Mario game :confused: ... The one that came on on regular Nintendo . The damn thing has only been available for about 20 years now and I haven't gotten past like Level 8 . I am the master at Duck Hunt though . :D

My son and I just beat the game. I also agree that playing with the hunters is cool. I was a little dissapointed in the ending though. What was up with Cortona (sp) at the end I would say that Halo3 is in the future for sure.

yeah i was wondering about that thing at the end. i am going to search on the net and see if i can find anything about the ending. i heard that there will be a Halo 3 but it will be on the Xenon (Xbox 2).
