Everytime I go for a ride I have fill up the engine oil. I fill it up to the highest mark on the sight glass, and the next day after riding, there's nothing in the glass... What happened to my oil?

You are probably not feeling it up all the way, once you feel it up, ride down the road a little ways for about 10 minutes or so, then come back and add... This 4 stroke engine will use some oil, I always check mine after each ride or before riding again, it is perfectly normal...

It will use a little oil. Check your tranny level. May be pushing oil to tranny side and check engine for leaks. May have a leak you may not have noticed. To properly fill oil, warm engine up and stop engine and let it sit for 3 minutes and check level in glass
( with bike on level ground. ) Fill to "H" mark and start it and let it run for a few minutes and stop and wait 3 more minutes and check again. Level should be correct and you should not have to add for awhile. Hope this helps.

how can there not be enough? I have to fill it up everytime I go riding. I've been putting oil in without draining it for a few weeks now.

How would the oil get pushed to the tranny side? Aren't they different?

And where would I check for leaks?

i dont know man does the damn thign smoke at all. if you're using that much oil inbetween rides i would find it really hard to believe you cant see it burning. i would do as he said and check for leaks man and def check the tranny side i have heard of them cross-contaminating and i dont really see how you could loose this much oil without noticing it anywhere else??

No smoke or anything, runs good. Just running a little rich, but I'm getting that fixed this weekend.

not running rich to wear the gas is washing out the cylinders oil and burning it off .... maybe thats where its goin???

Is that possible? I don't know, I'm gonna drain it all out this weekend and get my jetting straight (finally got the HRC needle in) and I'll see what happens

i have simillar problems
i ride one day. go to ride the next morning and i got no oil. i fill it up with oil and ride for bout 10 mins and my oil dubles. the oil is hiding suwhere! especially in the cold weather the oil likes to stay up in the top of the engine. there is no need to re-fill your oil unless its has been running for 10 mins max and theres still no oil. otherwise dont worry

how much oil are you putting in it when you change your oil??

on mine i fill it up with 850cc's (after draining oil and changing filter..) and its always filled where it should be....and never really gets low. could be because i change it every 3 rides.

If your quad is not smoking at all your not burning it

mine doesnt burn that much if any at all, ive never had to add oil between changes... jetting shouldnt have anything to do with it.

i measured how much came out of it after the dealership filled it up....and thats what it was. (when i first got the quad)

so i always put in 850CC's of oil ...measured in a ratio rite. its at the full line every time, and doesnt burn oil.
