to clear or not to clear?

If I polish my side covers sould I clear coat them or not? Even if it would lose a little of it's shine thats not big deal. All I want is for the shine to stay on for a long time. And I want to be able to go in mud and stuff and not have to re-polish everytime.

zoop seal is about the only thing i would recommend. you could spay clear laquer on them...wont last....you could pc clear them but it knocks down too much of the shine.

zoop seal isnt cheap but it works

what exacly is zoop seal??

if that is to expancive, would I be better to clear with spray paint or nothing
