I would like to have it for xc racing but I also do a lot of hill climbing. so I wonder Would it be practical to change it out if you were going to go to a hill climbing event. Or does it take to much time? I just don't like the idea of making it almost to the top and jumping off and not having any compression to help hold it still while the catchers try to get there. :)

If you are a decent mechanic you could easily swap it out the Rekluse with the stocker or what ever in a hr>

So you with this clutch installed you can roll the bike while it is in gear?

Its my understanding that the clutch can either be semi-auto or you can override it and use the manual clutch. If this is the case when your on the xc track use the semi-auto, when you are hill climbing override it. I have heard many good things about them, I think they would be great for xc.

Nope,

Your overide is:
Overiding the use of using the clutch lever, not the use of the clutch pack mechanism

With the Rekluse you always will be free wheeling unless your RPMS are high or on the gas>

Did you guys know you can get the Rekluse clutch with the external adjuster on rockymountainatv for $399.00? I called to confirm it. That's a killer buy! Just thought I'd let you know.
