i have an 05 400ex and i want a pipe and im not sure if i need one what do u guys think. What is the difference and is the peformance any better or what is the reason for an exhaust pipe help me out if u can thanks

Get an LTE, lmfao! Seriously a nice slip-on like a PC T-4 or an HMF will help out nicely.

I doubt that you will really notice any gains by just putting a pipe on your quad. But if you added an aftermarket filter and a jet kit in addition to the pipe. You will notice the difference there.

Aftermarket pipes help out with performance because they are not nearly as restrictive as your stock pipe.
