I am going to pick up a Z400 tonight and it is bone stock except for full skid plates and shockwears. I just sold a 400ex with a Pro Circuit T-4 full system on it and I loved the sound of it, and the performance increase was great.

Is there an exhaust system for the Z400 that will sound anything like the T-4 ?? Or is this just the Honda sound that I like?

I hope you guys understand what I mean. IOW, if I were to put a full T-4 system on a Z400, will it sound anything like the 400ex with the same pipe?

I dunno about the sound issue, but if you want a really good exhaust at an awesome price, you should check out HMF. You can usually get a slip on and get a custom powder coated color and still be cheaper than most of the competitors. I love the sound of the HMF on my 400EX.

I agree with you that certain brands sound very different. I can tell when a quad has a White Brothers pipe without even seeing it.

My buddy has the Yoshi pipe and it sounds good and performs good too. Though, I think if he did it all over he would probably go with the Curtis Sparks pipe.

Just put a Curtis Sparks pipe on my buddy's Raptor w/ a CS 690 kit and I thought it was going to be aboxiously loud and it wasn't. It was quieter than my WB R-4 Pro meg system.
