got my 450r stolen yesterday

well i got it stolen yea it suck well i dont want to talk about it too much i just want to tell you all to lock your baby up because there are quads getting stolen out there. i never thought it would happon to me

How did they get it? Im most interested in hearing how the theif got the bike so everyone knows how to protect themselves better

never park it outside. always keep in a garage (i kinda have to anyways, alaska=cold start a b*tch)

I have mine in a sea container, with a custom locking mechanism that cannot be cut with bolt cutters, then inside of it, it is (actually will be, all thats in their is a rollign chassis) chained to the wall with one chain, then chained to my work bench with another, im about go get an alarm system in it.

there was some 1500 quads stolen alone last year in texas-lock em' up!!

my quad got stolen a few weeks ago, but I somehow got really lucky and it was found. I'll never forget the feeling when I found out it was stolen, especially since I didn't have insurance for it. Anyone who steals quads should be shot. I just don't know how someone who's into quads could live with stealing someone else's pride and joy.

when my bro phoned me at work and said my quad wasnt in the garage i had a headache instantly. but then he went outside and saw it a few blocks down they tried pushing it but they gave up. not damage what so ever

We havent had any of ours stolen, even if so we have insurance, but we keep em in our attached garage and when were riding with then and leave/ sleepin we look them all together and to the truck. If anyone ever steals one of ours. Especaily mine I swear to god I would shoot the ****er on site.

Sorry to hear about that. We had our 400ex stolen before but we retrieved it the next morning in the woods

getting your quad stolen here in ok would suck cause you dont have to register them so they have no way to track the VIN. you would never get it back unless you run across it some how.
