new coil

i was talking to my atv shop where i get all my parts from and he mentioned something about a new coil and wire. he said it picked the whole bike up. i was wondering if anyone has tried this product yet. he says it sells for $160. i am thinking about getting it. he said it picked it up from 20,000 sparks/minute to 40,000 sparks/minute. well if anyone has any advice let me know.

Are you talking about the CDI(Its essentailly a coil) or something else like the stator? Sorry, I might be the only one confused!:ermm:

How can you increase the sparks per minute???? The engine sparks once every other revolution. :confused:

i think thats the voltage, not the sparks per min. Correct me if im wrong though

well i am probably wrong. i wanted to find some more out about it. i just heard abou it the other day and my dealer was telling me it was worth it but he just wants my money. i wanted to ask someone that does not want my money. i will call him tomorrow and ask him what is called again and post again.

its called the hot wire. i ordered it and we will see how much it helps the bike.
