I recently had my carb off installing a 42 pilot jet. I put everything back together and took it for a test drive. It ran great. I was then cleaning up and realized that I had forgotten to put the baffle plate back on. For anybody that does not know the baffle plate is the light pink cone looking thing with many notches in it that goes aroun the main jet assembly. Are there any side effects for not getting it back in imediately. Like I said it seemed to run great. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

its in there to supposedly help keep the fuel around the main jet when your riding over rough terrain. i had mine out for a while before i got around to putting it back in and i havent been able to tell any difference between it being in there and it being out and i ride a lot of rough trails. so its really up to you as to wether you want to put it back in immediatly or wait.
