What size Keihin jet should i use after taking off my airbox lid? everything else is stock.

what temperature and elevation you ride at?? typically, i found it best running with a keihin 150-152 with just a removed lid.

way low elevation like not even 200 ft above sea level. And here in arizona it goes from the lowest about 40 to the highest about 120 degrees.

i would try 3-5 over stock,....stock is 155 right,...so 160

wrong. Stock is 148. If the only mod you have done to your bike is remove your lid, than I wouldn't go any higher than a 152. Put a 150 and do a plug test, but that should be good.

yeah, a 152 or 150 should be good.

Thanks guys. :macho What would my jetting need to be with no air box lid and a k&n? Everything else still stock.

Most likely the same. Your limiting factor is going to be the exaust. When I first got my quad, I pulled the airbox lid, and never had an issue with the stock jetting. You might want to concider uping the pilot jet, it seems to make a big change in starting.
