Dumb question about skidplate

Hey,

I just put on a new DG Baha full skid plate. Happy with the product but when I fired up the quad the engine sounded a lot louder.....I'm figuring it's just the skidplate amplifying the sound cause the quad's new and it didn't seem as loud before I put on the plate.....
Oh yeah...it's got plenty of oil and seems to run fine during a quick 15 min blast..

Any comments ?

Don't worry about it it's the skid plate. My 300ex didn;t seem louder when i put a full skid on it but thats just me, nothing seem wrong to me.

Yeah its the skidplate. I had the same problem with my old 300. I just used a little weather stripping between the frame and skid plate and the noise and vibration went away.
