cam break in

i have a new webcam i was wondering everyones method of breaking it in. i always was told to not let it idle under 2k rpm for the first 15 minutes

i always prefer to pour oil in the head before the initial start up. after that, i ride it like normal. idleing it isn't supposed to be done though.
