Front Sprocket has side to side play Help asap

Hey guys hope you can answer this for me kinda soon. I was out in the shop working on my Quad getting it ready for sum grass drags, I seen that my front drive sprocket has play in it. from side to side.. Is that how it should be or is there sumthing wrong. Its not the output shaft with the play its on the sprocket on the output shaft with the play... The sooner sumone can help me out the sooner I can get it fixed for the race saturday.. Thanks guys

That is normal, because of the way the stay sits in the groove.

a little side to side play is perfectly normal.

OK.. Thanks guys.... I just wasnt for shure. I guess Ive never noticed it befor.
