I have just bored my 400 to a 440 with a Hotcam Stage 2. I have a WB R4 slip on, and a K&N with a close air box. I was wondering what jetting to use.
My altitude is about 1000-1200 feet.
I was also wondering what jetting to use with an open air box. I am thinking of opening it up.
I just need a starting point
Please Help

i would start with a 162 or 165 with the lid on and start with a 165 or 168 with the lid off. i run a 170 with a 440, full exhaust and no lid. but like 400ex men said you need a kit because everyone seems to end up with a different best final jetting even when they have about the same modes.

i would start with a 158-160 KEIHIN with the lid on and maybe a size larger with the lid off. jetting will change as the temps change.
