sparks carb mod?

Does anyone know what sparks does to the 400ex stock carb, i saw on his website but doesnt explain much, has anyone had it done or do you think it is worth it? my buddy cant afford an FCR39
right now so we were checking on this but wanted to know if it was worth it, because he just got his head ported and our engine builder said it will work alot better with a better carb?

i woud look around for a used fcr. i can't see the gains being huge. to be honest with you, the gains on a fcr aren't even huge. you will gain a lot of throttle response with the fcr though. you can get a few horsepower out of it by dynotuning. i don't think i woud do it, but that is just me. if you do, i would have rocky ridge do it because it is cheaper. i think they are $50 cheaper than sparks.
