Hop ups for 400ex

I just bought an 02 400ex and I have a k&n airfilter in the mail
and I need some more power what would you recomed
I amwonderin if a jetkit will work with just a k&n airfilter and perform with more power?
I woulde like too get a pipe with ALOT of power but it cant be really loud
what type of hop ups would u recomend?

I have a wiseco 440 kit I'll sell you cheap. I just got a new ross 440 kit. A good pipe jet kit, K&N filter will help. If you dont mind doing a little mechanic work you can get a 11:1 piston and a hot cam. Depends on how much $ you want to spend

^^^^that makes a huge difference...at least my 416 did. but thats where i started, first with the filter/jet kit. then i would get a full exhaust system, i recommend yoshimura rs3. if you want more acceleration, go with a 14 tooth front sprocket

ok first of all if you put a k&N and no jet kit you will be running to lean. Your quad could run better with the stock filter then with a aftermarket one and not re-jetted. So put on your filter, jet the carb properly and put a pipe. and no the WB is not loud.

it is the wiseco kit 11:1 the kit does not come with a cam. just sleeve piston,boss,circlips.

I'll do a $100 shipped but man you can get a brand new sleeve and piston from sled sales for $179.00 shipped and you get your choice of 12.5:1 or 11:1.

Edit: and it comes with the gasket kit. I'd have to buy that too. I'll give you $80 shipped.

by the way, beware of sled sales. When i ordered my first 440 kit they sent me th wrong sleeve and basically told me tough chit when i tried to swap it out. U get what u pay for i guess.

That's just one place, there are a few selling the kits for that. You got ripped and I'm sorry but if this is the kit you have in the classifieds a new sleeve and a slightly used piston isn't worth more then $100.
