It all started when i was spun out and some other kid nailed my left rear, then the motor didnt run right the rest of the night. so we went home and tinkered with it the next day. Well we were just playing with it and then KATHUNK! Well we tore it apart later and this is what we found:eek2:

Wait! Don't spend the money fixing it! Instead, spend it on your quad! ;)

yeah fellas it was a shocker when i opened that bassturd open! is weird that the crank and bore where untouched, no damage, just need to hone the bore and put it back together!

i wrote that book!!

but HOLY CHIT DUDE! i thought my motor looked like *** when the top of my sleeve broke and it slamed down on my crank and cracked it into 50 million pieces. it was fun to get all that chit outa my tranny...it was a good thing i had to replace the countershaft too!

dudes, thats only about half of that rod, there was soo many otha tiny peices that i have lost in the garage, over the last few weeks. Its pretty weird what a regular piston and rod looks like compared to that one :eek2:

We have used a billet rod to prevent that on the raptor engine.
We also have a animal we are building up.

Not my kart, my friends kart. I help him at the races.

we ordered a billet rod, but it was just a damn good stock motor,(i run in stock restricter plate class) so we ran it, well we ran it around our practice track out here and the side bushing popped out and we didnt know it. well we think that it got some didrt in it, so we flushed and flushed with oil. It sat up in our loft for about 8 years then we ran it this year cause our other old racing motor started acting up.(My bro and dad used to race '94, '95, '96, so alot of our stuff was from then) So thats why we think it fell apart, a lil dirt i guess we didnt get out:rolleyes: bunch of shat!
