400ex clutch perch problem

i am changing the perch on my 400ex because i removed the e-brake and there are wires running to the stock perch for the nuetral safty switch, what do i need to do to replace the perch but not mess up the switch? it is just a moose racing perch, can the 400 still be started or only in nuetral? please let me know

The 2 wires going into the perch, strip and either solder or use a solderless connection and you're all set. Be careful as your quad will turn over in gear without the clutch pulled in.
