Do you guys think having a the air screw at 3 turns is causing my bike to cut in and out with bigger jets such as 165 168 170. I have the nsvq needle with the clip in the 4th position 145 pilot and I live in low altitude. I have a dubach pipe and pro flow filter. This jetting thing is driving me crazy. with the 162 jet it runs normal with the others it seems rich. let me know.

Mine wouldn't run with any thing bigger than a 162 main.I tried every combo from a 175 down.I have the NCVQ needle with the clip in the 3rd position.45 pilot with full HMF exhaust.I run stock airbox with lid on.My bike would run like it had water in the gas with a 170 main I kept stepping down and it ran better and better till I got to the 162.Runs great I race XC and it has never got hot.

I have the Dr.D, Prodesign intake, K&N Filter, NCVQ needle and im at 175 main 48 pilot, 2 turns on the air screw and the clip on #4 at 900 ft elevation. That should be a good starting point for you.
