studing tires

Can I stud my stock 450r tires to run on ice?
They are like brand new because I took them off?
I might go to the lake this winter and I need studed tries.
Or is there some cheep tires I could get to stud like under $100.00 for all!

yes you can stud up your stock tires, but if you do stud them ,use them on the ice and only the ice. As soon as you go down a trail, or cross a road you will start throwing them. Call up C&R racing and see if they sell studs, I am sure they can get them for you;)

ive seen people where i ride with screwes with like hexagon screws, maybe drywall screws?? but anyway well after the snow was gone he was ripping it up on the dirt an they stayed in fine

all he did was put 3 screws in across each lil tread on his razr's
