I'm going to be replacing the axle bearings on my 400ex for the first time this weekend with the help of my Clymer manual. As I'm sure anyone who's used a shop manual knows, it tells you to replace every friggin' part I take off ( o-rings, snap ring etc). Is this really necesary or can I just purchase the bearings and seals and be done with it? I'd rather find out now then when I've got it all apart! Thank's in advance.
