Yeah, is it a good idea sprayin WD-40 on ur air filter, using it as protectant from dirt. I dont have the real oil for ur filter so i tried WD-40.

That's horrible. WD-40 is NOT what you want on your filter!

You better go and buy some air filter oil, it's cheap, and sold everywhere.. ;)

I have used motor oil but I don't think I would ever use WD-40 on an air filter. :(

i have used gasoline before & have used motor oil before but then I got a new air filter...a UNI....I now use bel ray stuff from my stealership and its real thick & blue & pretty good stuff

VERY bad idea.


WD-40 has absolutely no airfilter oil qualities about it what so ever. Just go out and buy a bottle of filter oil. Its never more than $10, and lasts a LOOOONNNGGG time. ;)

yea its not a smart idea. i wouldnt put that on my airfilter at all.

It never ceases to amaze me at how cheap some people are....Buy some proper oil would ya...
