i would start with a 160 or 162 keihn with needle in stock position.
about 2 1/2 turns out on the air/ fuel screw.
if its hard to start you may want to go up to a 40 or 42 on the pilot.

If it is a 160 or 162 keihn what size would that traslate to with dynojet kit jets??

you running a air box lid or not?

dynojets run larger. i believe the stock 148 keihin mainjet is similar to a 142 DJ

If a DJ 142 was like a 148 keihin would'nt the DJ be running smaller not bigger, I am just trying to clarify so I am not confused when I do this.

shane, you are correct. the DJ's run larger per number stamped on it. so, a 160 keihin should be approximately a 155 DJ.
