Shock adjustment?

i have a 300ex and i want to adjust the front shocks for a heavier rider over 200lbs. should i twist the adjustment to the right or left to make it better for a heavier person?

i dont have a stock shock to look at but you will want to turn it so that it compresses the spring

thanks pappy. man i would get more aftermarket parts and everything, but they are just to expensive for me at the moment.
