Hi all,

I read on here somewhere that getting +2 a arms and having offset front rims is a bad idea. I dont know what the offset is since I bought the 400ex used and they came with it. I only ride the dunes if that makes any difference.

Can anyone verify with hands on experience?

Comments appriciated.

Its not a "bad" thing, it just gives it some bump steer and puts more stress on the tie rods.

Bump steer is what it sounds like. You hit a bump and the quad will want to tart to one side or the other instead of going in the direction you want it to.

so......

getting rid of my offset rims and getting stock offset with +2 a arms is the way to go?

Thanks for your reply Jeff...

Thats what I would do, or you could flip them around and move the valve stem to the other side. This make them very close to stock offset.
