1st get a 17mm wrench and remove the plug on the bottom of the bowl, 2nd take a 6mm socket and un screw the jet in the middle of the hole and replace, pretty simple, remember, righty tighty lefty loosy:D

DITTO on the overtightening. Take your 6mm socket and spin the jet in by hand as far as you can. Then attach your ratchet and give MAX 1/8th turn. I've snapped one before...NOT fun.

Find the ONLY 17mm nut on the very bottom of the carb and take it off. The air screw uses a small short flat blade screw driver, located straight forward of the bowl towards the motor.

17mm bolt? what are you talking about? Right in the middle of the carb, after you take the bowl off, that's the main jet. There's a bunch of lil bolts there and the mainjet is on the end. just screw it off and screw the new one on. There's no need to take out that 17mm bolt. whatever he's talking about

P.S. - The old one looks just like the new one... Just incase you get confused :D

Why would you take off the bowl to change the main jet?
Thats what the 17mm plug in the bottom of the bowl is for!!
That's what i'm talkin about!

oh yeah? I didn't see that when I did mine. I had a blaster before and you had to pull of the bowl so I just did it that way. But next time I rejet I'll look for that plug. Thanks for the info.

... I thought you were talking about a 17mm bolt inside the bowl

hey john, the other day when you said take the whole bowl off the carb i was a little sketchy. dude it seriously took me 10 minutes to change. this weekend we can go out and change jets while were riding and test them! i put the 125 in there with the box lid on and its a big difference. i cant wait to chuck the box lid and throw your 180 in and see what happens.
