MX Motor mods

What have you MX guys done to your motors to make them run better?
Piston compression?
Cam timing or YZ cams?
Different Carb?
CDI?
WR or YZ crank?
Any help would be appreciated.

most of the people I deal with are just doing pistons and YZ exhaust cams. I have done a few WR crank setups and seems to work very well it adds quiet a bit of bottom and does not hurt the top at all. The YZ crank will not work without some machine work to the case.

if i used wr crank could i use wr stator and wiring harness? how much is a wr crank and what exactly does it change?
