I was wondering under normal riding conditions how many miles or hours can I expect to get out of a tank of gas on my 250ex. I bought one of those Six pack racks that holds a gas can for long rides. looks kinda hookie. Does anyone else have this rack and what do you think. It is the one by Armidillo that holds a 6 pack cooler and a 1 gallon gas can off to the side. Bought it on ebay. It works well and it is nice to carry extra gas but I also don't want to look gay. What do you think?

I get about 55 miles out of a tank on my 250 average but the harder I am riding the quicker it goes but I never get less than about 40. Between reserve and the spare fuel you should be able to get back to where you started from as long as you take it easy on the throttle.
