What is the best cam. I don't want a cam for trail but I don't want a problematic full out drag cam. If you can tell me prices it would be just great. Thanks

I just recently purchase Hotcams stage 2 from magic racing, $130, good overall gains when paired with high comp piston, I like it!

the hotcams definately have a good price tag on them. the stage 2 will do good in the larger bores and it is a high revving cam. the stage 1 will give a little more all around power and not as much at the rev limiter.

by the way, i have a stage 1 forsale if your interested.

Cals400ex, im interested in the stage 1 hotcam. How much you want for it, and how many hours are on the cam? Also i have never installed a cam before. Mostly worked on 2 strokes. What will i need to do to install the cam. Are there any special tools that i need? Thanks.

hey bpimpdaddy21 do you have to run higher than 92-93 octain with you 11:1 compression piston?

I don't think that it is completely necessary to run higher octane, but I do run a mix of super and race gas, about ~97 Octane, I think it keeps it a little cooler, helps it run a bit better.
