I know this is probably a stupid question, but I was just wondering where the best place to get a size 42 pilot jet is......

I want to modify my stock 02 400ex for starting problems as you guys have posted in the tech articles.

Is there a p/n to order by??

Thx

service honda,C&D racing, your local motorcycle dealer are just a few.
there is a part number but you dont need to give it to them, just tell them what its goin in and what you need.
if you get it from service honda you will probably have to call them to order it, i think the only one they have on the parts finder schematic is the stock #38.

I took the choke out and put in a #40 pilot jet, backed out the adjusting screw about 1/4 turn and I never have any trouble starting mine.

I have also removed my choke but I am running a 42 pilot at about 2 1/2 turns out. Starts right up and idels fine;)
