my 400ex is knocking very badly and you can hear the cam chain slapping around,. How exactly do you get to the cam chain and tighten it up? Were trying to sell it but its knocking very badly

It is self adjusting. Your only solution is to replace the chain and the self adjusting mechanism on the back of the cylinder
