I have a hard choice to make at my dealer this upcoming tuesday.....what do u guys think I should do?

i would personally save some money and go for the 04

buy a nice pipe with the saved money

don't you have one R already? Get the Red 04, there is no differene in the 04 and 05s.

yes I have an 04, gonna make the new one just a GNCC race quad..keep my current 04 for local races. I really want another red one....

id get the 05 black just for the fact that when you sell it youll get more money since its an 05...for the 300 more youll probably get that much more if you sold the 05 then an 04....and if your not in a rush to get it and want the red just wait til the dealer gets an 05 red ...i dunno if that makes sense but 05s are worth more then 300 more then an 04 and how come you have to buy it tuesday....a special deal or something?

If your gonna use it for gncc racing, buy the 05 because of contigency. The 04 will only have one year of contigency. The 05 Will have two years of contigency. To get contigency money from honda the quad has to be no more than 2 model years old. so for 05, only 04 and 05 will get contigency. in 06, only 05 and 06 will get contigency. one extra year on possible contigency. Some of the classes pay $500 contigency to win.

Well it seems that the Red 04 450R had the Majority vote.....but the Black 05 450R won with the Electoral Votes :D .......I bought the 05 Black for $6000 otd...Hootie's response was the deciding factor...I am going to be racing GNCC with the 05 and an extra season of contingency money from Honda is nice. I will be racing the 4 stroke stock class so I really dont need extra cash for a pipe or motor mods!

Where can I find out what races Honda has contingency money for?
I have tried HRC club but all I find is for ATVA MX and TT?

Is the 12hrs of america 1 of them?
