im needing new clutch discs any recommendations on witch to go with. i do nothing but strictly drag race . all opinions appreciated

Stock 250R disks have more friction area than 400EX seem to hold better!

barnetts are workinm fine for me. but ive also heard hinsons are good

thanks for the replies guys. 2 weeks ago i replaced the stock clutches with barnett clutches everything except the basket. took the bike to the strip made 3 passes with nirous and that was the end of the clutch. went back to the guy i bought the kit from he said it was probley installed wrong! so he puts a new set of fibers in and buffs the steels. so last night went back to the track same as last time made 3-4 good passes and clutch goes out. any suggestions.

idk, all i can say is
make sure you soak the disks in oil before you put them in
put in heavy duty clutch springs
compress the clutch after its in by adjusting the clutch cable near the clutch cover and also near the clutch lever
1 more thing
DO IT YOURSELF that way you can make sure its put in right... :cool:

i did everything correct the first time and i believe the shop that put the second set in did to im thinking barnetts wont hold under high horse power.
