The next time you have to replace the piston in your rear brake caliper on your 400ex the Yamaha piston is the exact same one and it comes with the two piston seals and the small o-ring that seals the parking brake shaft, and it's about $ 20.00 cheaper the mechanic that I buy alot of my parts from showed me this trick.
The Yamaha part number is 1UY-W0057-50.
It may work for the 300ex also. More than likely it has the same piston.:D
