How often should i put filter oil on my foam filter?

Yes, but dont drench the whole filter in it.. one its a waste because that spray is getting pretty expensive and two, it just acts as a second protectant so the dirt would have to go through the sticky grease and then the airfilter

a second protectant. i thought it was the protectant. i didn"t have any on my foam air filter and it sucked a bunch of sand in the carb and engine.

you should put oil filter oil on your filter everytime you clean it but like others have said dont drench it ;)

If you sucked sand into your engine Id say its days are numbered.

Put the filter in a plastic bag, then put enough oil in there to saturate the filter.

Stops waste, and keeps your hands cleaner.

If you put too much it will just wind up at the bottom of your airbox.
