Hey guys.. Im sitting here looking at a pic of the black widows.. On page 63 of the Dec. Issue of dirtwheels they have sum info on them. Ill type in the stuff they say about them.. This is what works them slef say.
Works Pro Piggybacks just got nastier. New Black Widows are bad in black. Theyre fitted with oversized reserviors to double the oil capacirty, and high strength chromoly and teflon fabric spherical bearing eyes, high and low speed compression and rebound. massive induction-hardend chromed alloy shafts, advanced mil-spec coatings that dissipate heat better then raw metal, and works exclusive computer generated check balland orifice damping design that is decades ahead of traditonal deflective shim technology from the 1930's- the design used by most onther shock makers. Cap this off with the only warranty on compettion shocks in the industry, and youve got the complete package.
It also say it gives you 12 inches of wheel travel with out rasing the ride height, there 4 way adjustable .... It says you can get them in ZPS along with tripple and quad rate springs


They also have a triple-rate spring up grade for the 450R

Works Works Works what will they say next. These shocks are not long travel, LT shocks are 19 inches long. 12 inches of travel out of a 16inch shock , doubtful. My LT PEP ZPS only put out 11. Quad rate standard travel? Ok. They look nice but I guarantee they will be more money then most top shock companys shocks. But I will say that I do like what their re-spring of the stock shocks look like, kinda a GT Thunder style ZPS shock.

Seeing is believing. Dont buy into Works hype. I am by no means bashing Works, infact it says that I like thier spring set up. And next time dont be making threats toward anyone, I dont use names in my post so keep mine or refrences to mine out of yours.

sry i was alittle unhappy lastnight because i spent 4 hours tring to get a stud out of my front hub because it was stripped out, im justtried of so many users bashing works yea i read you liked the conversion

You will not get 12 inches of travel without a very exotic set up. Even the TCS,PEP, axis stuff doesnt give you a significant more travel. The gains come from the extra room in the shock for valving.
