A local rider- Bobby Hammons, that ran some in Koontz series as well as GNCC,was killed when a tree limb fell hitting his pickup in the windshield area while driving to work. Funeral arrangements are incomplete but will be announced. He was a racer who raced to have fun both before and after the race and a lot of fun to watch!!

Wow that's terrible, maybe this up coming season Paul could pay a lil tribute to him get some stickers made for us to run on our bikes or something in memory for him. Btw... what class did he run??? That's terrible hate to hear it :(

He switched back and forth from bike to quad this year- he ran B class last year. He's from Richwood,WV and usually came with the Tharp brothers either to race or give moral support by showing the empty beer cans to the racers. Always had fun no matter what!

His viewing is at 6:00 tonight and the funeral is at 2:00 tomorrow at the Siemens-Coleman funeral home.
