416 pipe question

I've been breaking in my 416. I put a 165 main jet in it when I put it back together, but that's all, no bigger pilot or change to the needle. I've been taking it easy, breaking it in, but I know it's rich. I took my air box lid off, but it still seems rich. Here's my question. Wil my megamax pipe restrict the flow, to a point where I have to run a smaller main jet to compensate?

I'm thinkin the megamax is killen your exhaust flow...:(

Since you all ready messed up and bought the megamax, take all the disks off the end. This should help de restrict your flow.

I thought adding discs would let it flow better...

adding disks would increase flow, but I think he meant take all of them out and put no cap back on so its opened right through

I had a Mega Max on my Foreman and ran it without no end caps, arrestor, or nutn, it sounded good till it burnt a big hole in the muffler. the mega maxes are junk!!!
