considering putting a 11.1 piston in the ol' 300s, was wondering just out of curiousity, do you have to pull the motor out to get the jug off on 300s? or will it come out with the motor bolted in

also, with a .020 over and 11.1, will stock timing be sufficient? thanks

the jug will come off without removing the motor.. but it can get difficult at times.. i personally will never do motor work without removing the motor beause of how simple it really is. but stock timing is good for the the 11:1 piston. but jsut remember.. you'll notice a power increase, but you wont notice a big gain unless you have the head ported, bigger valves, cam, and a piston.. but you're also looking at a hefty bill along with that.
