Rear MX tires?

any idea's on a good MX tire.
the tracks are mostly shale,sand,loam. no hardpack. looking for something with decent wear, control and a good sliding tire.

Klaws or Razrs for what your riding on.

i'd say klaws, but a set of grooved tamers would be a decent choice also

Klaws is for sure the best way to go!!! they hook up like a dream!

I run alot out to redbud... the best tire combo Ive found is a set of 18 inch Razr Tires for the back end, and a set of 20 inch Kandas up front.. Hooks up like a dream.. Handles great... But Right now Im running the Razr mx 18's in back and 20 Inch Razrs in front.. But I feel theres more front end push with the Razrs up front... For the Klaws Ive never rode with a set on the rear end of my Bike. But my buddy runs them and he has a harder time getting them to power slide.. but they hook up Geat.. If you have a bigger bore bike or motor work done to yours then I dont think you should have to much of a prob. with kicking the bike side ways.... Thats what I think...

My buddy spun out and cartwheeled his z400 after running with me at a practice track on sunday. He had klaw rears. Before he flipped it, i rode it and i noticed the rear end wanders real bad. He has razr mx fronts and lets just say he will have razr rears soon too. This bike is the QOTM on z400central too.

So what sizes do you guys run? I'm looking for some new rims and tires for mx/trail use. Just curious what size tires you guys run for the front and the rear.

do not use MX tires in the woods. They will get torn up! trust me.

I use the holeshot mxr4 they work nicely in all sorts of diffirent conditions on the mx trak . the perfect tire depends alot on the quad and rider preferancehttp://www.rascotruckparts.com/450r.jpg
