i bought my sprocket from www.rockymountainatv.com they have a few different kinds and all sizes and at a really good price.

The graphix N-motion has a sweet set up it has a lot of carbon fiber in it "www.nmotiontechnology.com". i also like eastcoast ATV

Just curious why you would want to put a 13t on, this is gonna make the gearing exteremly low and you will loose a lot of speed and you will have to shift alot!

If your 400ex doesn't have any low end then there is something wrong with it. 400ex's are the low end kings!

I have a 13 tooth that WAS on my quad I took it off right away. I tried a 14, not too bad but I thought it had too much bottom end so now I have a 15 on it now and I'm pleased with it. As for the Graphics My one buddy just got graphics from Xtreme Graphix for his 450r... DAMN!!!! You have to check them out at http://www.xtreme-graphix.net/home.html I think I'm going to get one from there soon.

I had a 14t with 20" rear tires and a Big Gun slip-on, I had a crap load of low end power. I got 18" tires and was forced to go back to a 15t because of how much low end I had, I could start out in 3rd gear no problem on that thing...stock engine. Now with the 15t and 18" rear tires and Big Gun exhaust I still have plenty of low end power, so if your 400 doesn't have any low end power with the 14t sprocket there is definately something wrong.

IS that Brandon Summers quad??

And yeah, I also wonder y there would be any need to run a 13tooth front sprocket?? mabey if your running 25"tires!!

Also running a 13 tooth front sprocket will make chains wear a little quicker!!!
I run a 14/38 setup, and 22" tires, and i almost never use 1st gear, except for the start!!!

i dont get it. every says its suppose to have lots of low end. well i got 20 inch rears and a 14 tooth sprocket in front and have like no low end...here is what i have all done to it... i had a 440 big bore kit in it but when i didnt know alot aobut quads i took it into the dealer and they like took alot of my engine mods out..now i have a 10.5:1 piston with a cam mod(not sure cuz i havnt took apart my engine yet not the informed yet) and i got a full dmc exhaust with a k&n air intake. there migh tbe more but im not sure...and i dont no what the carb is yet. and that might just be my problem. but yea the no low end thing is pissin me off.

It maybe because with those mods and a 14t front sprocket, you are up shifting too soon to compensate for the too low of gearing. Try going to a 15t front and you will be able to hold the lower gears longer before shifting.

Just curioius, what rear sprocket are you running?

If you put a 13t sprocket on it will shift WAY too soon. My friend had a blaster with a big bore kit and stock gearing. Your quad would drive like that and you deffenately wouldn't want that.

you have no low end because I'm pretty sure you bike is built for top end, my buddy also has a full 440 ex with a dmc exhaust, he always complains of no low end!.... good luck with that.-darren
