I've spent nearly 4 hours looking for a copy of the HRC instructions on the internet only to find NOTHING.

The 450r I purchased already has the Mod done, or so they said. I just want to verify it is done and done right!

Does anyone have or know where i can get an electronic copy of the HRC instructions?

Couldn't find an owner's manual either! :grr: Dealer says 14 days to order one. :(

Thanx

just pull the valve cover off. you gotta remove your gas tank and than a plastic thing. and there's three bolts holding the valve cover on.

CAUTION:do NOT overtighten 3 valve cover bolts. They torque to 7 inch ounds... not much. Bolts snap real easy.:eek2:

Thanks for the input.

How can I recognize that the HRC cam is installed vs. the stock?

What are the correct main and pilot jets with the spark arrester?
Without the spark arrester? (Sea level dune riding only)

Does the HRC needle have an identifying mark on it so I know that's installed?

Hey I really appreciate the advise and love riding this quad!

Thanx

Does the bike have stock exhaust? The HRC kit came with a new end cap for the exhaust.

Does the bike have an open air box or closed? The HRC kit came with an open replacement lid.

When you look at the cam, it has 3 grooves around it on the decom end, 2 for stock!

Thanks,

The HRC exhaust end cap was installed and the replacement air box lid also. Haven't checked the cam yet. I'll check the current main jet tomorrow.

Does the HRC needle have any identifying marks?

How about sea-level jetting for HRC cam, Yoshi complete pipe, and K&N air filter with airbox lid removed?

Should I leave the HRC partial lid in place?
