Ok this all started about 2 weeks ago when i orded tusk nerf bars for my 400ex from RMATV. 2 days later i got my nerf bars...and just the nerf bars. No hardware. No webbing. So i called them and told them and i only got the webbing. Then i had to tell them about the hardware and they said they were just gonna send me out a whole new set of bars. And 2 days later, just the hardware comes, and i'm like whatever i'm just glad i can get them on now. So i go to put that main bar that goes on your frame on and no matter how much i tighten it it stays loose. Then the bolt snaps. WTF? Obviously it broke because i tightened to much but the thign was still loose. I have to call RMATV tomorrow and see whats up...

my ac pro pegs with heels were very nice it all looked good then we started to put them on and it was all hell. the connecting tubes that ran throught the frame just didnt line up so we bent them so they did but there on and i love them now.

my buddy got tusks on his 300ex the front bar slots where the ubolts go through them didnt work didint allow the nerfs to touch the pegs so we had to grind them longer.. they seem kinda small compared too my dgs i dont know if its just becouse they are tusks or if its the 300.. but overall i like the acs or dgs

i had the same problem with mine and i snapped the cheap plastic-like bolt too and replaced them with hardened steel bolts and no matter what you try that bar wont stay still just go ahead and mount the rest of the nerfs and they wont move, mine dont and i have absolutely no complaints they look great, fuction great, and were only 100 bux.

I had a set of 250R nerfs with the nets missing and spray painted silver on my 400. let me see if I can find an old pic

take it to someone to have it tapped out or go to sears and buy an ez-out and do it yourself,i took mine to my neighbor who is a mechanic and he tapped it out and gave me the new hardened steel bolts, but id reccomend buying an ez-out its a handy tool to have

i doubt it, just buy an ez-out and take the broken bolt out yourself its easy. then take the non broken bolt to a hardwear store and buy a stronger replacement bolt and then put the nerfs on.
