i have a 2000 400ex and when i turn on the key with the bike in neutral and in the run position all i get is click click click clik ??

Your battery could be dead, or your starter could be having problems. Use jumper cables & a good battery to see if it will start then. If it does, your battery is the problem. If not, you might want to take a look at the starter.

it could also be a bad ground. mine started to do this and i couldnt find anything wrong. i thought it was the battery. so, before i bought a new battery, i checked all the connections. i took all of them apart cleaned them and added some electrical grease, and after that it worked. it was the ground connection that goes to the subframe for me.
