HAVE 2001 STOCK 400 EX . LIVE IN CENTRAL FLORIDA ,ENJOY HARE SCRAMBLES . INTERESTED IN REBUILDING ENGINE THIS SUMMER , WHAT MUST I DO TO GET DONE WELL . SHOULD I SHIP THE MOTOR OR WHAT . I DON'T WANT ANYTHING EXTREM , MAYBE LIKE A 426 OR SO BUT I WANT A QUALITY JOB . NEED A BIT MORE SPEED AND POWER BUT NOT MORE NOISE . THANKS FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS .

If you're going to ship it off, there are several choices: TC,CT, Sparks, Heterick, & FST (although I think FST only does large displacement stuff) just to name a few. Is doing the work yourself an option? If so, you can still buy the parts from those guys & save some money. You might check to see if Terry @ Marcum's will rebuild your motor. I think he is in Florida, so he might be close.

yeah if you want to do it yourself then get the parts from Terry! or even let him do the work!!!
Vegas,,FST will do just about anything!!! but of course TC is my choice!!!!
