yeah i talked to the cops today they said they had a chase with a 450r last night about 3 in the morning but they had to call it off cause douglas county's policy says they cant chase quads due to the risk of being sued if the person falls off and dies i say so what if they werent on the stolen quad at 3 in the morning they wouldnt be chased

I had one of my yfz450 stolen in nj this weekend, I was at the ironman and came home to an empty garage and no insurance would cover it....

i man i know what you mean. my step-bro just had his '03 400EX stole from our local dealer. it was there getting worked on, well they hadn't even started on it actually. it was outside locked up in the fenced in around th side of the shop with a ton of our 4-wheelers. there was even a brand new KFX right next to his and they f-in stole his. it was pretty pimped out though, but it ain't all bad for him because he was about to sale it and get a YFZ(trader). so now the shops insurance is going to give him $4500-5000 for it and it will put him closer and easier to getting a YFZ, but it still sucks butt that someone loser had to steal it. hope everything works out for ya man, i feel your pain! i kow if it was my 450R someone would be dieing, if i found them. c-ya, chris

here are some pics of his 400EX, just in case they make it out of state and crap but i don't think so.

I have always been afraid of that happening. I can't believe that *****. On my garage I have 2 giant pad locks covered with big pieces of steel. You can't cut the locks. Then, my quads are locked together with a chromoly chain. It would be easier to cut the quad than cut the chain or lock. Yo, and if I hear you, I've got a 12ga. with your name on it. Ba$tards!

i found it i got it back last night i did some investigative work found out almost positively who did it knocked on the door when he answered i gave him the ole pistol in the face trick and he started talking real fast needless to say its at the police station right now they are going to try to get the serial number back from where they filed them off so they can have for sure evidence in court dudes got like 4 felonies on him over this
luckly he hasnt told them about the pistol in the face yet i hope he doesnt either

Just deny it if he tells the cops you pointed a pistol in his face. Also about insurance. If you try and claim it under homeowner insurance. Be ready to prove that it is used for yard work. Cause if you go through it and they find out your you don't use it for yard work. KISS your homeowners insurance GOOD BYE! My parents tried that for me when my 96 blaster got stolen out of the garage. The place that my parents had the homeowners insurance thru. Came to the house, talked to us, even went to the dealership and asked them what I did to the atv. Let us know what condition the 450R is in when you get it back.

Sweet, You stuck a gun in his face:eek: . Man if you did that here in Chi Town You would have been in a rumble and then the police would have arrested you. But hey I think that is awsome:devil:

Had my pimped ot 440ex jacked from my garege last fall. Forget about the homeowners, they saw you coming. I now pay $16 a month comprehensive coverage. If stolen it's replaced, weather it's in my truck, garage, even if it's in a wreck on the road or a track. Make the little payment and forget about it... Glad you got your stuff back. Most of us aren't that lucky.

Did you at least give him a beating, i definately would have, he would have been at the hospital getting my boot surgically removed from his ***** right now. :o I'm qutie glad to hear you are getting your bike back. The dude still needs a beating, so when he gets out of jail, be sure to give him one, so that he don't try that **** again.

its $188.00 year /12 = $15.667 a month full coverage

I all so pay about $15 some a month for my truck with full coverages and 0 deductable.

and im about to turn 25 and it will be less !!!!

O ya its state farm

O ya and state farm will finance me for less that what Honda would and Honda was 5.9%

I get my insurance from State Farm but shop around your area. I found out a lot of times the prices and coverages are negotiable.

I know what u all mean about *******s stealing ANYTHING from you, It sucks!!!
I think that ppl steal the 400's/300/250x cuz they are soo easy to wire up and just push start real quick.

I feel they should have a manditory minium, For stolen quads/ and dirt bikes. I say if the sorry SOB steals it, and is caught, he/she should receive up to at least 5 years, With restution!!!!
