yea the arms will fit, but will make the 300ex 4 inches wider..too wide..You will also need a shock relocater bracket to make the shocks work..For a 300ex you might just wanna get stock 400ex or 250R arms..That will widen the quad 2 inches..Thats all you will need..Not 4..The rear axle I dont know, about..I am pretty sure it wont work though..

do a search, there are plenty of reasons why 400ex a-arms on a 300ex are not a good idea, as well as other setups that are much better

I thought the 400ex axle would work in the 300 for a +2???

The 350x axle will work for +1.5", but I can't remember if you need the caliber brack and rotor or not. Do a search on 350x and you will find the answer to that question.
As far as the 400ex a-arms, I have +2 400ex a-arms on mine and they work great. I don't have any binding like other people have talked about. I ahve checked at full droop and full up and I just don't see where the problems other people are talking about are at. Maybe I am missing something, but my machine handles great. The bump steer is about the same as it was with the stock 250x a-arms.
If you are riding on motocross tracks, the +2 400ex arms will make a world of difference when corning (your quad will be around 48" wide). If you are in the woods, go with stock 400ex a-arms so that you can still get through the trees easily (your quad will be around 44" wide with the stock 400ex arms).
